Klimno is located on the south coast of the bay which is situated on the eastern portion of Island of Krk. The name of the bay is Bay Soline but people usually call it Bay Klimno according to the biggest village in the bay.

You can experience a breeze of old times in the Chapel of Saint Clement in Klimno where is the root of the name Klimno. The chapel was first mentioned in 1381 and is known for its fascinating altar relief which is declared as a national cultural heritage.

The bay is mostly very shallow so water is warm almost six months in a year. A salt-pan was located in the bay from the ancient times to the medieval age. Today a healing mud from Soline is a magnet for tourists with a health problems. Keep in mind that mud is helpful but it is not almighty.
